Eggs with cherry tomatoes on seeded sourdough
Not just an ordinary eggs on toast dish here we use La Boulangerie Artisan Seeded Loaves for a truly rustic feel and fresh free range eggs. Combine with chopped sage & roasted cherry tomatoes to add extra flavour to this easy yet satisfying breakfast dish..

Cherry Tomatoes on the Vine BR1209 

 

Method  



Roast the tomatoes with a drizzle of olive oil. In a small frying pan melt the butter with the oil, heat until the butter starts to turn a light brown colour, add the chopped sage.

 



Place a chefs ring in the frying pan & crack in the eggs. Baste the eggs with the flavoured butter.

 


Toast the bread under a pre-heated grill at 200ºc

 


Simply serve the eggs on the toast, drizzle over the remaining flavoured butter & accompany with the tomatoes
