Brakes Partner with Readychef to offer full produce range
Brakes have launched a new fresh produce selection in partnership with local produce supplier Readychef.
 
Readychef is a second generation, family owned, Catering Supply Business originally set up by William Tallon Snr in the sixties. Today his sons, William and David, carry the ‘fruit n veg’ mantle forward into the new millennium. In the intervening years the business has grown to be recognized as one of the largest independent, Irish, family run, providers of Fresh and Prepared Produce to all food service sectors. Originally located in Dublin 7 close to the Smithfield Markets, the business expanded and during 1998 moved to a purpose specific plant in the Dublin Industrial Estate in Glasnevin. This has proven to be an excellent central location for distribution countrywide.

Product Range

Readychef supplies a full range of fresh and prepared fruits, salads, vegetables and potatoes products. They also operate our own, on-site, Food Production facility preparing vegetables and salads for our customers. Ready Chef has a team of 60
people in the Dublin depot who take great care and pride in the produce that we handle.

Food Standards

Readychef operate under the Q Mark Certification of Hygiene and Food Safety to the highest level and has a detailed H.A.C.C.P. Plan, Environmental Policy and Waste Management Programme.

Facilities

Readychef operate within their own Food Production facility on the same site as their distribution company. This gives our Customers distinct advantages in the following areas:
